TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team will travel to Greenville, Ill. for a non-conference game with Greenville College slated to start 7 p.m. (CT) or 8 p.m. (ET).
The Fightin' Engineers come into the game with a 1-0-1 record after a victory over Kalamazoo College and a draw against Alma College this past weekend.
In Rose-Hulman's 2-0 victory over Kalamazoo, sophomore Ben Lyon found the back of the net twice in as many shots giving the Engineers their first victory of the 2014 season. One game earlier, the Engineers and the Scots of Alma battled into the early hours of Saturday morning after a lightning delay. Both teams failed to score in 110 minutes.
Senior goalkeeper Drew Miller earned his first two shutouts of the season.
Greenville comes into the game 2-0 after defeating two Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foes Earlham (1-0) and Anderson (4-0).
After the game with Greenville, Rose-Hulman travels to Decatur, Ill., for a game with Millikin University on Saturday, Sept. 6.
