DECATUR, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team rallied with a second half goal to force a 1-1 draw at Millikin University on Saturday afternoon.
Millikin opened the scoring in the 21st minute for the first goal against the Fightin' Engineers this season. Kellin Daniel scored on an assist from Nick Schaefer.
The tightly contested match featured an 11-10 shots advantage for Rose-Hulman. Lyon led the Engineers with five shots, and sophomore Alex Jansen had two. Senior Drew Miller led the defensive effort with five saves.
Rose-Hulman stands 2-0-2 on the season and returns to action at Principia College on Thursday night.
