FULTON, Mo. -- Offense was hard to come by on Friday night for the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team.  The Fightin' Engineers mustered just seven shots and fell to Knox College in their 2017 season opener by a final score of 2-0.

Junior Lucas Kesterson fired both of his shot attempts on goal.  Senior Turner Perkins also managed to get his lone shot of the evening on goal.

Rose-Hulman was strong on defense, limiting the Prairie Fire to just seven shots, four of which were on goal.  Knox struck for two goals in the second half, scoring in the 55th minute and also getting a late goal in the 89th minute.
