Rose-Hulman Takes Down Oglethorpe on the Road

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineer tennis team started Spring Break off on the right foot with a 6-3 win at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga. Saturday afternoon.  The win upped their record to 2-1 on the early season.

Brendan Goldacker and Georges Adam secured a victory at the No. 1 doubles slot, winning 8-2. Cam Metzger  and Andre Adam won at No. 2 doubles 8-3.  

Singles winners on Saturday included Georges Adam, Brandon Benedict, and Cam Metzger. Adam and Benedict won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively.  Metzger won at No. 3 singles.  Andrew Schiffman earned a win at No. 6 singles, winning 6-0, 6-2.  

Rose-Hulman will continue on to Florida to continue their Spring Break trip.  The Fightin' Engineers will square off against Augustana (Il), Capital, and Wartburg on Tuesday February 28.
