TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will conclude its regular season at Defiance College on Saturday February 18 at 1 p.m. The Fightin' Engineers are 21-3, 16-1 HCAC. Rose-Hulman has won 11 straight games. RHIT has posted separate win streaks of 11, six, and three games this season.
Defiance College is 13-11, 10-7 HCAC. Senior Kelsey Tietje leads the Yellow Jackets with 20.1 ppg and 14.1 rpg. DC leads the all-time series between both schools 12-10, but the Fightin' Engineers have won three straight against the Yellow Jackets. In the first matchup this season, Rose-Hulman defeated Defiance by a final score of 55-42 back on January 14 in Terre Haute.
On Wednesday February 15, the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers clinched outright the HCAC Regular Season Championship after defeating the Anderson Ravens 64-48. Four Engineers finished in double figures. Ally Bromenschenkel finished with a game-high 16 points and seven rebounds. Abby Bromenschenkel added 10 points on 5-8 shooting. Josie Schmidt had a strong game inside for RHIT, scoring 14 points and grabbing six rebounds. Schmidt also had four blocks. Sophomore Taylor Graham scored 11 points off of the bench. Senior Alyzia Dilworth contributed a career-high six steals in the win. The women have won back-to-back HCAC Regular Season Championships (T-1st last season).

Rose-Hulman will host the upcoming Heartland Conference Tournament slated for February 24-25 at Hulbert Arena in Terre Haute, Ind.
