Women's Tennis Completes 9-5 Season with Loss to Franklin

TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology completed a 9-5 season in women's tennis that featured Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference runner-up honors with a 6-3 loss to Franklin College at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.

Junior Suzana Mohd (Puchong, Malaysia/Mara University) led the Fightin' Engineer performance with a win at the No. 1 singles position.

The No. 1 doubles team of Mohd and senior Marie Stettler (Edgerton, Wis./Senior) earned a 9-7 win, while senior Paige Cook (Terre Haute/North Vigo) and junior Kylie McCollum (Lee's Summit, Mo./West) added an 8-2 victory at the No. 2 position.

Rose-Hulman and Franklin both finished the season with a 9-5 overall record.  The Fightin' Engineers were the second place finisher in the conference regular season and league tournament standings.
