Women's Volleyball Comes Up Short Against Berry in NCAA Tournament

MT. BERRY, Ga. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was defeated by the host of the DIII Volleyball Regional Berry College in three sets 25-22, 25-18, 25-15 on Friday night.  This match wraps up the 2018 season for the Engineers.

The Seniors on the team showed up to play for Rose-Hulman.  Bailey MacInnis was the team-leader in kills recording 12 in the match.  Marissa Gollnick finished right behind her with 7 kills along with 7 digs and 12 assists.  

Grace Beach was also able to help the team offensively with 6 kills finishing the game with a .357 hitting percentage.  Katie Orbeta led the team with 21 assists on the night as well. 

HCAC Defensive Player of the Year Katryna Dahlberg was also able to make an impact.  She finished the night with 17 digs to help the team establish a defensive presence.  

Rose-Hulman ends the 2018 season with a regular season record of 19-13 and HCAC record of 7-2.  This match against Berry College is the first NCAA Tournament appearance for the volleyball program since 2011.
