TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology athletic department officially begins its new public "Athletic History Project" on Monday March 23.

The Rose-Hulman Athletic History Project is designed to educate current Fightin' Engineer fans on the outstanding and unique history of Rose-Hulman and Rose Polytechnic athletics.  The project will allow fresh content for the Rose-Hulman athletics website and social media channels during our athletic downtime caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Athletic History Project will begin with the discussion of one memorable season from each of Rose-Hulman's current 20 varsity athletic teams over the next 20 weekdays (March 23-April 17).  Posts will be added each weekday at 9 am Eastern Time.  After the first 20 days, Rose-Hulman alumni and fans can have their memories become our daily "Rose-Hulman Athletic History Project" story by e-mailing us your story with one (appropriate for publishing) accompanying photo.

All project entries will be retained by the sports information office, and will perhaps be compiled a document in the future. We hope the Athletic History Project will reaffirm that Rose-Hulman has a tradition of excellence in athletics, as well as the nation's best undergraduate engineering, science and mathematics education in the classroom.
