GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology completed a 2-2 baseball weekend with a 10-4 loss at DePauw University on Sunday afternoon.
Ryan Stachowski led Rose-Hulman with two hits, including a double, with one run and one RBI. David Burnside added a solo home run, and Logan Cody added a double, one run and one RBI for the Fightin' Engineer offense.
C.J. Yoannou led the DePauw offense with a home run among two hits with three RBIs. Spencer Youngcourt added two doubles for the Tigers.
On the mound, Trever Bruno struck out three in 5.2 innings in his second start of the season to lead the Fightin' Engineer performance. Joe Runnels picked up the win for DePauw with six innings pitched and four strikeouts.
Rose-Hulman held a 4-3 lead after scoring three times in the fourth and once in the sixth. DePauw answered with runs in its final three at bats to secure the win.
DePauw improved to 7-5 on the season, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 6-5. The Fightin' Engineers host Fontbonne University on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Art Nehf Field.
