Men's Basketball Hosts Earlham on Saturday at 4 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team returns home to face Earlham College on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside Hulbert Arena.



Rose-Hulman (8-4, 4-1 HCAC) News & Notes:

  • Rose-Hulman, Bluffton and Transylvania are tied for first in the HCAC at 4-1 entering this weekend's games. 
  • Rose-Hulman has won six of its last seven games, including four straight contests, entering Saturday's matchup.
  • Craig McGee (52%), Ryuji Aoki (46%) and Charlie Aimone (45%) rank first, second and fifth in the HCAC in three-point shooting percentage entering Saturday's games.
  • The Rose-Hulman offensive attack features four players averaging in double figures and another very close to that mark.  Charlie Aimone leads the team at 13.8 points per game, Ryuji Aoki and Craig McGee are each scoring 12.4, and John Czarnecki is adding 10.2 points per contest.
  • Rose-Hulman has won 17 of its last 21 HCAC regular season games dating back to last season.
  • The Fightin' Engineers hit the road twice next week, heading to Franklin and Bluffton.  The next home game is Jan. 16 vs. Anderson.

The Opponent: Earlham (3-9, 2-3 HCAC)

  • Earlham narrowly missed a breakthrough victory on Wednesday, falling 76-75 at HCAC co-leader Transylvania.
  • Jamel Barnes and Darrell Hutchison led the Quakers with 19 points each at Transylvania.
  • Hutchison and Barnes are also Earlham's scoring leaders for the season, averaging 13.3 and 11.9 points per game, respectively.
