Men's Basketball Hosts Anderson on Wednesday at 7:30 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hosts Anderson University this Wednesday at 7:30 pm.  The game is M. Mogger's Restaurant Night, located at 908 Poplar St. in Terre Haute.



Rose-Hulman (10-5, 6-2 HCAC) News & Notes:

  • Rose-Hulman enters Wednesday's game in a 4-way tie for the HCAC lead.  The Fightin' Engineers are joined at 6-2 in league play by Bluffton, Hanover and Transylvania. 
  • Rose-Hulman had its 6-game winning streak snapped in Saturday's 55-49 loss at Bluffton. 
  • The Rose-Hulman offensive attack features three players averaging in double figures and a fourth player close to double figures.  Charlie Aimone leads the team at 13.9 points per game, Ryuji Aoki is averaging 13.1, Craig McGee is averaging 12.6, and John Czarnecki is adding 9.7 points per contest.
  • Rose-Hulman has won 19 of its last 24 HCAC regular season games dating back to last season.
  • The Fightin' Engineers return home on Saturday to face Defiance College with a special early start time of 1 p.m.

The Opponent: Anderson (6-9, 5-3 HCAC)

  • Anderson has won 3-of-4 games entering Wednesday's matchup at Rose-Hulman.
  • The 5-3 conference record includes wins over Earlham, Mount St. Joseph, Defiance, Bluffton and Manchester
  • Stanley Duncan (14.9 ppg), Cole Hartman (14.8 ppg), Maurice Knight (10.3 ppg), Malik Laffoon (10.1 ppg) and Mike Peters (9.5 ppg) offer a balanced scoring attack for the Ravens.
