Men's Golf Places 10th at Indiana Small College Championship

FRENCH LICK, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team came home 10th in the Indiana Small College Championship held Saturday and Sunday at the Donald Ross Course.

Max Gogel led the Rose-Hulman performance with a 30th place finish of 70 golfers in the event.  Gogel fired two rounds in the 70s, completing rounds in 77 and 79.

Braden Kattman finished second among Rose-Hulman players with rounds of 77 and 81 to come home 37th.

Playing as an individual, Cole Bechtold added rounds of 82 and 80 to the Rose-Hulman performances.  Matthew Kadnar recorded rounds of 83 and 84, and Brady Vaughan scored 82 and 85 as the duo had scores of 167.

Rose-Hulman competitors also included Francis Li with rounds of 80 and 90; and Jack Speedy with rounds of 86 and 84.

The Fightin' Engineers will compete in the Chauncey Cup Alumni Match next weekend.
