TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior midfielder Charles Lynch has been selected to the Google Cloud NCAA Division III Academic All-District VII Men's Soccer Team, in results released by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Lynch will advance to the NCAA Division III Academic All-America ballot, with the national team scheduled for release on Tuesday December 4.
Lynch appeared in 74 games at Rose-Hulman with 32 starts, scoring four goals with six assists and 14 points. The electrical engineering major also carries a 3.94 grade point average in the classroom, and scored one goal with two assists as a defensive midfielder this season.
Lynch helped the Fightin' Engineers qualify for three Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship games in his career, highlighted by an appearance in the 2015 NCAA Division III Tournament.
Rose-Hulman finished 9-6-3 overall this season and reached the semifinal round of the HCAC Tournament before falling in penalty kicks to eventual NCAA qualifier Transylvania University.
