Men's Tennis Shuts Out Transylvania, Moves to 3-0 in HCAC Play

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 3-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis action with a 9-0 victory at Transylvania University on Saturday afternoon.

The Fightin' Engineers lost just three singles games and one doubles game in the match.  Winners included Ian LandwehrAndre AdamAndrew Schiffman, Austin Perry, Brendan Goldacker and Grant Stamper in singles play.  Doubles winners included Metzger and Adam at No. 1; Perry and Schiffman at No. 2; and Ben Strate with Jacob Pluta at No. 3.

Rose-Hulman improved to 9-7 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while Transylvania dropped to 1-6 and 0-1 in league play.  The Fightin' Engineers return to action at home on Saturday against Hanover College.
