Men's Tennis Battles Before Falling at DePauw

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- DePauw University relied on two doubles wins and four singles victories to pick up a 6-3 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in men's tennis action on Saturday.

Rose-Hulman won at the No. 3 doubles slot to keep the match tight at 2-1 after doubles play.  Austin Perry and Ben Strate picked up an 8-6 win at the No. 3 doubles flight.

In singles play, Ian Landwehr picked up a 3-set win at the No. 1 singles position with a 7-5 win in the deciding third set.  Grant Stamper earned a straight-set win at the No. 6 singles flight.

DePauw improved to 4-5 with the victory.  The Fightin' Engineers return to action at Eastern Illinois University on Sunday March 17.
