Stevenot All-Region Honor Leads Men's Cross Country at NCAA Regional

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology competed at the Great Lakes Regional in Shelbyville this Saturday placing 14th overall out of 38 teams.

Matthew Stevenot led the way for the Engineers finishing 23rd overall with a time of 25:50.  This top 35 finish earned Stevenot All-Region honors and he will be placed in consideration for the NCAA Division III Championships as an individual.  The official list of athletes competing in the Championship will be released this Sunday.  

Evan Ammidown had an exceptional race finishing in 58th place with a time of 26:22.

The rest of the top five among Rose-Hulman runners also included Ben Gothard in 70th (26:35); Nathan Ciriacks in 83rd (26:42); and Nolan Gross in 124th (27:11).

Rose-Hulman's top seven finishers were rounded out by Kevin Wuest (27:15) and Sean Sullivan (27:17).

This will wrap up the 2018 season for the Rose-Hulman men's cross country team with four top five finishes this season including a first place finish to become the 2018 HCAC Champions.
