Swimming & Diving Teams Open at Indiana D-III Invitational on Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology opens the 2018-19 men's and women's swimming and diving season with a trip to the Indiana Division III Invitational at Wabash College on Saturday afternoon.

Rose-Hulman News & Notes

* Rose-Hulman opens the 2018-19 season after a successful first venture into the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference in swimming and diving last season.
* Rose-Hulman won all 20 men's events to dominate the inaugural HCAC Championship in 2018.
* On the women's side, Rose-Hulman finished just 42 points behind Franklin in the battle for the 2018 league championship.
* The Fightin' Engineers will host the second HCAC Swimming and Diving Championships at the Vigo County Aquatic Center on Feb. 14-16.
* Rose-Hulman opens the season with a combined roster of 32 men and 19 women competing on the squad.
* Returning 2018 HCAC champions include: MEN - Sean Gish (200 Freestyle Relay); Dutch Kipp (200 IM, 3 Relays); Ethan Park (100 & 200 breaststroke, 2 Relays); Michael Rosier (200 Medley Relay); Nick Samra (100 breaststroke); Peter Venema (1-meter & 3-meter diving).
* Returning 2018 HCAC champions include: WOMEN - Lauren Blake (400 Freestyle Relay) Elisa Weber (200-IM; 400-IM; 400 Freestyle Relay)
