Rose-Hulman Women's Hoops Heads to MSJ Wednesday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will travel to Cincinnati on Wednesday December 6 to play against the Mount St. Joseph Lions in early Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.  Tipoff from Ohio is scheduled for 7 p.m.


Rose-Hulman News & Notes:

* The Fightin' Engineers kicked off HCAC play on Saturday December 2 with a 12-point win over Defiance College, 67-55 in Hulbert Arena.  Ally Bromenschenkel finished with a game-high 16 points.  She was joined in double-figures by Alyzia Dilworth (13 points) and Chiarra Franklin (10 points).  
* Rose-Hulman's overall record is currently 4-3.
* The Fightin' Engineers are averaging 67.6 ppg while holding opponents to 54.3 ppg (+13.3 scoring margin).  
* RHIT has owned the boards this season as well, averaging 44.0 rpg.  Rose's opponents are averaging 29.6 rpg (+13.4 rebounding margin).  

Mount St. Joseph News & Notes:

* The Lions are much improved this season and are off to a hot start, going 4-2 through their first six games.
* Mount St. Joseph used a big fourth quarter to down Manchester on Saturday December 2 by a final score of 75-62.
* Freshman Maddie Haberthy leads the team with 13.0 ppg.  Junior Lainee Studer is adding 12.7 ppg and 5.5 rpg.
