Women's Golf Releases Fall 2019 Schedule

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers women's golf program has just released their schedule for the fall 2019 season.  The schedule is highlighted by trips to Denison University, Hanover College, Illinois Wesleyan University, and HCAC championship host Bluffton University.

Rose-Hulman hopes to take the next step and earn its first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship this season.  The Fightin' Engineers have finished as the HCAC runner-up for the last six years.

The team features four returning all-HCAC performers from the 2018-19 campaign.  Rachel Zhang led the individual all-HCAC performers by finishing third in the league last season.  Caitlin Coverstone finished fourth in the 2018 HCAC championships after earning a share of the 2017 conference individual championship.  Namuunaa Nadmid added a fifth place finish, and Rebecca Su earned her second career all-HCAC honor with a 10th place finish.

Lauren Conley ranks No. 3 on the team in career scoring average entering the 2019-20 season (83.77 strokes per round), and Ashley Braaksma returns after appearing in four rounds last year.

The 2019 season also features three new freshmen on the squad.  Lily Byrne, Annie Gant, and Olivia Sexton provide depth as they begin their careers at Rose-Hulman in the upcoming season.
