Namuunaa Nadmid Named HCAC Golf Player of the Week for 2nd Time

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- After helping Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology set three school records last weekend, senior Namuunaa Nadmid has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Athlete of the Week.

Nadmid set a new school record with her 36-hole tournament score of 147 at the Rose-Hulman / Franklin Invitational.  She carded a round of 73 at Hulman Links Golf Course on Saturday and completed a score of 74 on Sunday at Legends of Indiana.

The effort helped Rose-Hulman set two team school records - one for 18-hole tournament scoring (299 on Saturday) and one for 36-hole tournament scoring (611 combined).

Rose-Hulman won its second consecutive weekend event after capturing the team title at the HCAC Preview on Sept. 21-22.

The Fightin' Engineers seek the first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf championship in program history this weekend at Bluffton Golf Course.  The winning team will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, which takes place May 12-15, 2020 at the PGA National Resort (Palmer Course) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
