Fightin' Engineers Look to Continue Hot Play at Bluffton Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will look to continue its hot play as the Fightin' Engineers travel to Bluffton University on Saturday October 21st.  Kickoff from Ohio is set for 1 p.m.



Rose-Hulman News & Notes

* Rose-Hulman sits 4-1-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play; good enough for a tie for third place in the league standings with Anderson.  Rose sits 7-7-1 overall
* The Fightin' Engineers delivered a thrilling upset of league-leading Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday October 18th at Intramural Field.  RHIT scored midway through the second half and held on late for a 1-0 win over the Lions. 
* Rose-Hulman is unbeaten in the month of October, posting a record of 4-0-1.
* Jessica Wells ranks third in the HCAC with nine goals and 22 points.  Wells has been named the HCAC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and has scored five goals over the last five games.

The Opposition: Bluffton University Beavers (2-12, 1-5 HCAC)

* Bluffton's two wins this season are against Grace Bible and Defiance.
* The Beavers have been shut out in their last four matches heading in to Saturday's match against the Fightin' Engineers.
* Skylar Liming leads the team with five goals and 10 points this season. 
* Goalies Jules Frazier and Sienna Sullivan have combined to save 132 shots this Fall.
