TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman rolled to a big 8-1 victory over Mount St. Joseph on Homecoming.
The Fightin' Engineers took two of three doubles matches on Saturday afternoon. The duo of Caroline Johnson and Kai Faulk picked up a win at No. 2 doubles 8-6. Bella Evans and Barbara Arhin teamed up for an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles.
RHIT would sweep all six singles matches on the day. Anna Thompson won 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 1 slot. Evans won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Naomi Bhagat won 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 3 position. Fanny-Jane Banda picked up a win at No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-0. Kyla Jarvis won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 5 position, and Linde Schaffer won 6-0, 6-0 to round out the day for Rose-Hulman.
The win improved Rose-Hulman to 6-2, 3-2 HCAC. The Fightin' Engineers will return to the courts on Thursday October 12th at 3 pm at Manchester.
