
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Fightin' Engineer volleyball team will begin their HCAC schedule this weekend traveling to Manchester University. The Engineers will face Manchester at 12:00 PM and Eureka at 2:05 PM.
RHIT NEWS & NOTES:
* The Manchester Tri-Match will consist of the Manchester Spartans, Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers, and the Eureka Red Devils.
* Katryna Dahlberg is the reigning HCAC Defensive Player of the Week after her performance in the past three matches.
* Dahlberg has recieved HCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season recording 74 digs over the course of three matches.
* Katie Orbeta ranks 3rd in school history with 2,543 career assists.
* Elizabeth Canon leads the team with 175 kills so far this season. Riley Woodruff is second with 136 kills, followed by Orbeta with 99.
* Orbeta (384) and Eryn Castaneda (237) lead the team in assists.
* Dahlberg leads the HCAC in digs (425) and digs per set (6.07).
* Block leaders include Woodruff with 53 and Maria Bruner with 50.
MEET THE OPPOSITION:
* Manchester University stands at 6-8 overall this season and 0-1 in HCAC play after defeating Capital Universityon Friday with a final score of 3-1.
* Eureka College is 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the SLIAC this season after a loss to Dominican (Ill.) on Tuesday with a final score of 3-0.
