Women's Cross Country Places 3rd at Millikin

DECATUR, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's cross country team recorded a pair of top 20 finishes to place third as a team at the H.W. Wright Millikin University Classic on Friday afternoon.

Washington University took the top spot among eight teams with 15 points, followed by Illinois Wesleyan and Rose-Hulman.

Camille Blaisdell led the Rose-Hulman performance with a 25th place finish in a six-kilometer time of 24:00.  Kally Morozin added a 32nd place effort in 24:25.

Emma Ross came home third among Engineers and 39th overall in 24:49.  Alexa Kovacs (41st in 24:55) and Rachel Shubella (42nd in 24:58) rounded out the Rose-Hulman scorers.

The top seven runners also included Mary Petersen in 25:00 and Sarozjani Hunter in 25:25.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Olivet Inter-Regional Rumble on Oct. 14.
